Roberta Capelson, M.S., A.N.P.

Roberta Capelson is an Adult Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has worked in the Adult Section at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston since 1999.

Roberta sees patients in the clinic as well as at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). She provides care for patients who are seen in consultation when admitted for medical, surgical or psychiatric issues. She also sees patients in the Joslin Geriatric program and the Sexual Function clinic. She oversees employee health and moderates Conferences on the Joslin Diabetes Center's Discussion Boards.

Roberta has presented clinical in-service seminars for BIDMC's nursing staff as part of professional diabetes education. She has also participated in staff education for Joslin's Affiliated Programs.

Roberta has an interest in geriatrics and community health, holds an MS degree in Women's Health and a CAGS in primary care.
